Ready to get involved?

Family Promise is a community response to homelessness. As a result of mobilizing community volunteers and partnering with other organizations, we are able to reduce the overhead costs associated with running a shelter in order to spend funds on direct client costs.

As a volunteer, you can directly help families who are experiencing homelessness through a number of avenues. While the majority of our volunteers are members of our partner faith-based congregations, we also have many who are β€œat large,” who discovered FPA through word-of-mouth, in a class or civic organization, or online. All volunteers must be trained. To start the process, sign up via our portal below. After you sign up, you will see the current opportunities available for volunteers. Follow the sign up process to see the shifts.
